CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Headbands
To clean GUTR (TPE) headbands, simply hand wash with soap and water or any mild disinfectant/cleaner. Pat or air dry. We do not recommend using bleach and other harsh chemicals.
Visors
The number 1 problem with caring for plastic visors is the use of incorrect cleaners. Never use cleaners containing ammonia. Cleaners such as Windex or 409 will harm your new piece of polycarbonate. Use only products specifically recommended for cleaning polycarbonate.
Never use a dry cloth or your hand to clean your polycarbonate. This rubs the dirt and dust INTO the polycarbonate as much as it rubs it OFF.
We recommend the following:
Gently cleans all plastics without scratching
Leaves a lustrous shine that resists fogging, repels dust, and eliminates static
Resists finger marking
Contains no abrasives or harsh chemicals
Leaves a smooth, clean, greaseless shine
