GUTR FACE SHIELDS are designed to protect healthcare professionals’ personal safety while maintaining clear vision. The clear, non-penetrating polycarbonate visor aids in preventing airborne and droplet contamination. Reducing the risk of transmission from wiping your face, the GUTR sweatband channels dripping sweat away from your eyes and glasses.
Each visor is cut with smooth rounded corners that won’t snag or penetrate skin, apparel, or equipment. The replaceable visor is directionally-adjustable for preferred operational positions—and can be raised fully for complete facial access without needing to remove the sweatband.
GUTR sweatbands are made with a soft, flexible medical-grade polymer designed to feel comfortable against your skin over long periods of use. They feature an adjustable elastic closure with fine levels of adjustments to ensure a comfortable fit.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Headbands
To clean GUTR (TPE) headbands, simply hand wash with soap and water or any mild disinfectant/cleaner. Pat or air dry. We do not recommend using bleach and other harsh chemicals.
Visors
The number 1 problem with caring for plastic visors is the use of incorrect cleaners. Never use cleaners containing ammonia. Cleaners such as Windex or 409 will harm your new piece of polycarbonate. Use only products specifically recommended for cleaning polycarbonate.
Never use a dry cloth or your hand to clean your polycarbonate. This rubs the dirt and dust INTO the polycarbonate as much as it rubs it OFF.
We recommend the following:
Gently cleans all plastics without scratching
Leaves a lustrous shine that resists fogging, repels dust, and eliminates static
Resists finger marking
Contains no abrasives or harsh chemicals
Leaves a smooth, clean, greaseless shine
